this dichotomy formed the creative fountain from where my work flows.
Another interceding force was the move to Vienna at age six.
where I lived with my family for 2 years in a house of ghosts and the echoes of the war,
I was sensitive to the fingerprints of history as well as the late 1960s vibe of rebellion. This duality of receding old-world sensibilities and the immediacy of new possibilities were clearly evident to me at a young age.
I returned to NY and moved into an apartment in Queens, bordering the Lefrak city projects It was here in this apartment where I began studying comic book art and further on, all visual forms and literature. it was also where I first awoke and heard the sound of the The Ramones and the embryonic initial beats of Hip Hop ,the urban equivalent of Punk rock, which had become my life soundtrack. this occurred simultaneously as I picked up my first spray can and began painting subway trains.
Overtime my work has been featured on all media platforms.
notably in the motion pictures PINERO, MY BROTHER, DON PEYOTE and on the Netflix series Jessica Jones
I strive to be in a constant state of creation, I work in oils, aerosol and combined mixed media on linen and paper and all surfaces. using the elements of fire and water to manipulate the mediums and surface areas. My work is stylized and figurative and the resulting images are a projection of my stream of consciousness, the characters that inhabit my paintings are versions of my psyche and live in a world of my own making, my work is a window into that world.

Punk rock and Salsa and Disco and Hip Hop was and is my mainline soundtrack. It was in this matrix that my creativity took root and began to blossom. I continue on that journey exploring the world through the artistic filter of my vision by which I create my Work.
